No Spam!
In June to July of 2007, the narmadatextiles.com domain was illegally used by spammers -- they illegally forged narmadatextiles.com in the "reply-to" field of hundreds of thousands of spam emails, posting fake job offers – something we would never do. The industry calls this a "Joe Job." Anyone is vulnerable. Read an informative article from TechTv.com.
These fake spam emails claim to be a job offer to resell our textile products internationally – this is not from any of our staff at Narmada Textiles and if you receive this email, please help us to stop these spammers. Here’s what you can do: SPAM information page – fight back.
Below is one of the versions of the illegal email:
Dear Sir/Ma,
I am Mr Lewis Kevin Director Manager Of Narmada Textiles. I am
Here to Present to you If You Would like to work online fromh ome/Temporarily and get paid weekly? We are glad to offer you for a job position in our organization Narmada Textiles. based In Indonesian .We need someone to work for the
company as a Representative/Book keeper in the USA. This is in view of
our not having an office presently in the USA. You don't need to have
an office and this certainly won't disturb any form of work you have
going at the moment.
Your tasks are:
1. Receive payment from Customers and co-ordinate payments.
2. Receiving and re-mailing of official letters.
3. Cashing or processing of Payment at your Bank.
4. Deduct 10% which will be your percentage/pay on Payment processed
5. Forward balance after deduction of percentage/pay to any of the
offices you will be contacted to send funds to through Money transfers.
This takes barely hours, so it will give us a possibility to get
customer's payment almost immediately.
For example you got $3000.00, you take your
income/benefit: $300.00 Send to us: $2700.00,
First month you will have 15-20 transactions on
$3000.00- $12000.00 so you may calculate your income.
For example 18 transactions on $3500.00 gives
you the total of $4400.00
Our payments will be issued out in your name and you can have them
cashed in your bank or other Cashing Services, deduct your benefit and
forward the balance to the company. We are looking only for the worker
who satisfies our requirements and will be an earnest assistant and we
understand it is an unusual and incredible job offer. The job offer is
legitimate and called Business Receiving Agent/Management of Account
Receivables.
We are glad to offer this job position to you. If you feel that you
are a serious and honest worker and you want to work for Narmada
Textiles Limited, kindly email us the following information about you:Your
full name, Address ,sex,telephone number(s)Your Urgent reply is needed so
that we decide on giving you the job and can have our American clients
forward you the payments.

These emails are traveling all over the world, and tarnishing our good name. Before you email us about this spam problem, please understand...
1. We are very aware of the problem.
2. This issue has been reported to the FTC and IFCC.
3. We are reporting as much of this abuse as we can (but please remember that I am just one person).
4. If you plan on sending threatening emails, you want to be sure you are accusing the right person of the crime. We have listed many resources below where you can check the exact source of those spam emails you are receiving.
5. Please do not email us and ask us to remove you from the mailing list. We cannot remove you from any lists, since we have not sent you any emails -- spammers have done this, not anyone associated with myparentime.com.
6. Do not reply to spam emails! Why? One reason is...you don't want these people to know you have an active email address - this will only invite even more spam. Another reason? You may be replying to an innocent party, in which case that innocent party may receive 1000 times more emails due to the original spam emails sent (this is what was happening in my case).
How can you help us report these spam emails?
Before you decide to report any spam email, make sure you check the original, full email headers for the IP address to discover the true identity of the person sending the spam (see links below on how to do this). It is very easy to create a reply-to address in an email, which spammers often do.
Most notably, these email ask you to reply to an email address at Yahoo.co.uk -- this is not ours and please report this email address before reporting the spam is from narmadatextiles.com. Don't reply to these emails!
BEFORE YOU FORWARD SPAM: Please be sure that the information is the same as what is listed here - do not blindly report spam emails without confirming where they came from first.
Report spam to the FTC at UCE@FTC.GOV. Be sure you include the full header and complete email.
One other thing you can do, is post the full spam email (including FULL header information), to the following newsgroup: news.admin.net-abuse.sightings. There are some very knowledgeable people in this forum -- I've already posted a few email headers there.
If you decide to forward the spam email to us, please be sure to include the FULL HEADERS -- we cannot do anything without this information. Also, don't just include the header information...we need the full email forwarded to our Community Abuse Department, and the full headers.

What if there are no email headers available, or I cannot locate full header information?
If there are no email headers available there is probably some other identifying information in the body of the message (most of the abusing email are send from a @yahoo.co.uk account – report this email).
DO NOT simply reply to the email address in the "Reply-To" field.
